Summary of Position: Under direct supervision of the Banquet Supervisor, takes food and beverage orders from the guests, prepares the beverages ordered and serves the guest.
Minimum Qualifications: High School Degree or GED plus some experience in the restaurant or food service area as wait staff or cashier. Must be alcohol certified. Must be 21 years of age.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Knowledge of dining and food maintenance operations and customer service. Knowledge of all menu items including entrees, side dishes, beverages and deserts. Ability to communicate, read, and write clearly in basic English. Ability to demonstrate outstanding guest service at all times. Ability to service customers in a professional appearance and manner. Ability to follow instructions and work in a stressful and busy environment. Ability to obtain food handler#8217;s certification within three months.
