CONVENIENCE STORE CASHIER - PART TIME

Summary of Position: Responsible for the proper and efficient operation of cash drawer in accordance with established policies and procedures assisting customers with their needs.

Minimum Qualifications: Must be at least 21 years of age with current alcohol server certification prior to first scheduled shift. High School diploma or GED equivalent plus three months cash register, sales and/or cash handling preferred.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Must have customer service experience, be able to answer customer inquiries, and greet customers. Must have cash handling experience including issuing change and balancing receipts. Knowledge of cash register operations, sales methods, and techniques. Ability to communicate effectively in the English language, both verbally and in writing with staff and the general public.
